PowerCranks as a back rehabilitation tool
Many chronic back problems come about due to mild intervetebral disk injury, causing a loss in disk height. A loss of disk height causes the ligaments between the joints to become slack which results in some instability and unnatural movement in these joints. This problem can even occur in relatively "normal" backs that are in poor condition or unbalanced. In order to stabilize these joints the intervebral muscles can go into spasm, which can cause substantial back pain or the muscles fail to support the joints and abnormal pressure is put on sensitive bursa, again resulting in pain.
One of the most common reports we get from new users is "the PowerCranks made my back pain go away". We theorize this is from the stabilizing effect on the spine that would come from better training and balancing the iliopsoas muscle (the major hip flexor) which is attached to the lumbar spine. This should cause a natural stabilizing effect and result in the pain relief that is frequently reported.
If you suffer from back pain you should consider training with PowerCranks to see if what they do for the user might "solve" your problem. Since they come with that 90 day moneyback guarantee there is little financial risk in giving them a try.

"I began using Powercranks in 2001 as a rehab tool and after trying to resolve an Illiacus/Psoas strain that just would not heal and strengthen with regular rehab methods. I noticed significant improvements in pedaling mechanics, strength and power. I am convinced that Powercranks work and am glad I can recommend them to clients."
